Production Description:
Hoffman Kiln is applicable to various traditional sintered brick production scenarios and is compatible with a variety of brick-making raw materials such as clay, shale, and coal gangue. It can stably produce various sintered brick products such as solid bricks and porous bricks, and is the core firing hub connecting brick blank forming and finished product delivery.
Traditional Hoffmann kilns are characterized by their closed, annular kiln bodies. The kiln plan is often shaped like a running track, circular or elliptical, and some are rectangular or U-shaped. The kiln body is divided into two layers. The ground layer is mostly made of brick or stone, while the upper layer has a kiln roof with a wooden or steel roof truss. The whole kiln consists of an annular kiln chamber, a flue system, a coal feeding hole, a kiln door, a ventilation system, and kiln cars. The kiln chamber is usually divided into 12 or more open, hollow, dome-shaped tunnels. The kiln body is constructed with high-temperature refractory bricks and an insulation layer to ensure that heat is not easily lost during the firing process, making it suitable for long-term continuous operation.

During operation, the fire starts from the first kiln chamber, and the flames continue to advance along the ring kiln chamber. The kiln chamber forms four functional zones in sequence: preheating zone, firing zone, heat preservation zone, and cooling zone, realizing the integration of the entire process of brick blank drying, preheating, high-temperature firing, and cooling.

Out-wall decoration bricks come with smooth surface and uniform color , and normally burning fuel is natural gas or coal powder, which is showered into the burning kiln by specific tube system. Out-wall decoration bricks also can be called as Face bricks.
