Product Description:

The box feeder is a key piece of equipment in the raw material preparation stage for brick, tile, ceramic, metallurgy and other industries. It is widely used in brick plants for uniform and quantitative feeding of clay, shale, coal gangue, fly ash and similar materials. Brick plant raw materials often have high moisture content (up to 25% or more), high viscosity, and uneven particle size. If the feeding stage suffers from material interruption, surging, or flow fluctuation, it directly affects the mixing effect and the density consistency of extruded green bricks, and may even increase the reject rate of formed products.

Halstec Box Feeder is designed precisely to solve these problems. The machine adopts a heavy-duty welded box structure, with an internal picking roller and an adjustable gate on the top. After raw material is loaded into the box by a loader or conveyor belt, the picking roller forces the material forward while the gate limits the flow, achieving uniform and continuous discharge from the outlet. Compared with ordinary apron feeders or belt feeders, the box feeder offers better adaptability to wet and sticky materials and better resistance to clogging.

Working Principle:

The working principle of Halstec Box Feeder is as follows:

Material loading: Use a loader or conveyor to feed raw materials such as clay, shale, coal gangue, etc. into the box container on top of the feeder. Depending on the model, the box volume can hold 3 to 8 cubic meters of material, creating a certain material pressure that helps push the material downstream.

Power transmission and quantitative output: After the motor starts, power is transmitted to the drive roller through the pulley, speed reducer, and coupling. The drive roller then rotates the picking roller (or belt, depending on the specific design) at a set speed. Under the combined action of the continuous picking motion of the picking roller and the control of the upper blocking gate, the material is forced out evenly and quantitatively from the discharge opening.
